Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account and contact details: name, email, phone and suburb or address.
• Player enrolment details: the player's name, date of birth, emergency contact, and the parent or guardian's consents.
• Health and safety information you choose to give us (injuries, conditions, allergies), so coaches can respond appropriately.
• Booking and attendance records: sessions, credits, packs and memberships.
• Payment records: amount, date, status and the last digits of a card. Full card numbers are handled by our payment providers (Stripe, PayPal) and never stored by us.
• Sign-in details from Google if you use it to sign in: name, email and profile picture only.
• Coaching records: coach notes, ratings, and session photos and video in the player's Pathfinder area, where you have consented.
• Technical data: device, browser, IP address and pages visited, through cookies and analytics.

Why we collect it

To manage bookings, programs and memberships; to run sessions safely; to take payments and issue receipts; to contact you about bookings, changes or safety; to meet our duty of care, insurance and legal obligations; and to improve our services. We send marketing only to people who opt in, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Children's information

Many of our players are under 18. A parent or guardian creates and manages the account and gives consent for participation, photos and video. We collect only what we need to coach a child safely and reach a responsible adult, and we never use a child's information for marketing.

Who we share it with

• Our coaches and centre staff, as needed to run sessions.
• Service providers who run our booking, payment, email and hosting systems, under confidentiality obligations.
• Insurers, regulators or law enforcement where required by law or to deal with a serious safety risk.

We never sell personal information or share it for anyone else's marketing. Some providers may store or process data overseas; we take reasonable steps to make sure they handle it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

How long we keep it

We keep records while your account is active, then for as long as tax, insurance and legal limitation periods require. Participation and incident records involving children may be kept longer. After that we delete or de-identify them.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections and reputable providers. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask for a copy of your information, correct it, delete your account, withdraw a consent or stop marketing. Most of this can be done in the Elite app; otherwise email info@elitecricketacademy.com.au. We respond within 30 days. Some records may need to be kept for legal, insurance or safety reasons; if so, we'll tell you what and why.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies keep you signed in, remember preferences and help us understand how the site is used (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics). You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though some features may stop working.

Complaints

Email info@elitecricketacademy.com.au with any privacy concern. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the OAIC at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.

Changes

We may update this policy; the current version is always on this page with its date.
