Cancellations & refunds

Rescheduling

• Any booking (coaching, lanes, courts, bowling machines or mat wickets) can be moved free of charge up to 4 hours before it starts.
• A booking can be moved up to twice, to a new session within 60 days of the original date.
• Reschedule in the Elite app under My bookings, or call your centre: Hoppers Crossing 0485 043 094, Pakenham 0485 043 092.

Cancelling a 1:1 coaching session

Notice before the session	What happens
24 hours or more	The session credit goes back to your package.
4 to 24 hours	The credit is not returned, but you can still reschedule for free.
Under 4 hours, or a no-show	The session credit is used.

Cancelling a lane, court, bowling machine or mat wicket

Notice before the booking	What happens
12 hours or more	Full refund, or the credit returned to your package.
4 to 12 hours	50% refund.
Under 4 hours	No refund.

Rescheduling stays free down to 4 hours before, so moving a booking is usually better than cancelling it.

Monthly memberships (junior group)

• No lock-in and no cancellation fee. Cancel at any time: your next scheduled payment is the last one, and training continues to the end of that paid period. Part months are not refunded.
• Pausing: up to 2 months in any 12, in whole months (1 month minimum). The spot is held and the membership resumes where it left off.
• Missed sessions: if your child is marked absent, a make-up can be booked into another group in the same calendar month. Unused make-ups lapse at the end of the month.

A bank debit that has already been submitted to your bank cannot be stopped by a pause or cancellation; the membership simply covers that period.

Session packs

• A pack is valid for 12 months from purchase, unless the product says otherwise (school holiday passes, for example, are valid for that program).
• A free 3-month extension is available once on request for injury, travel or family reasons. Ask your centre.
• A credit is taken when a session is booked, which is what holds the spot. The cancellation rules above decide whether it comes back.

Programs and school holiday programs

Program places are reserved for you when you enrol, so program fees are not refunded for a change of mind. If you can't attend a day you chose, contact your centre before the day and we'll help where we can. If we cancel a session or program, you'll get a credit or a full refund.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service is not provided with due care and skill, or is not fit for the purpose we told you it would meet, you are entitled to a remedy.

Cricket equipment and warranties

Equipment bought from Elite Sports in store or at elitesport.au follows the store's returns policy at elitesport.au. Cricket bats carry the manufacturer's 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects:

• Bats with a broken handle, a crack or a similar defect are sent to the manufacturer for assessment and repair, usually about 10 working days. If a bat can't be repaired to a reasonable standard, the manufacturer may replace it. Warranty decisions are made by the manufacturer.
• Not covered: toe damage from yorkers or from tapping and sliding the bat; surface damage from inadequate knocking-in; moisture, heat or misuse (such as hitting the stumps); and damage from non-leather, composite or bowling-machine balls. Heavy use with machine balls may void the warranty.
• Bring proof of purchase (a receipt or bank statement) to make a claim.

Asking for a refund

Most changes can be made yourself in the app, which shows the amount before you confirm. For anything else, including a disputed charge, email info@elitecricketacademy.com.au or call your centre, and a person will look after it.
