For cricketers who are serious about progressing through Representative, Premier and Cricket Victoria-aligned pathways, a new standard of development has arrived. The Elite Cricket Pathway Program is a selective, high-performance training system led by Victorian Premier Coach Dale McDonald and supported by a specialist team of coaches, a personal trainer, sports psychologist, dietician and nutritionist. This is not a general participation program — it is a structured pathway designed exclusively for cricketers committed to long-term cricket excellence.

The Elite Cricket Pathway Program has been developed for players who demonstrate:

  • Genuine commitment to improvement

  • Clear intent to pursue higher representative honours

  • The discipline required to thrive in an elite environment


Entry is strictly by assessment only. Every applicant is evaluated to ensure they meet the standards necessary to train within a high-performance setting.

This selective approach ensures that every session maintains professional intensity, focus and accountability.

Structured Pathway Streams


To ensure age-appropriate progression while maintaining elite standards, the pathway is divided into four clearly defined streams:

  • Junior Elite

  • Elite

  • Senior Elite

  • Senior High Performance


Each stream is carefully designed to support long-term player development while aligning with competitive benchmarks expected at Premier and Representative levels.
